Madison Academy is tuition-free public school academy that opened its doors to the Flint community in the fall of 2004. Serving students in the kindergarten through twelfth grades.

·         Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated Rebecca Louise Robins Scholarship - deadline March 1st

·         West Flint Business Association Scholarships - deadline March 24th

·         Harold Scoville Scholarship (GCI students only) - deadline March 27th

·         ELGA Credit Union Carmen Lee Wilber Memorial Scholarship - deadline March 31st

·         Mott Community College Trustees’ Leadership Scholarship - deadline March 31st

  • The U of M Flint FAFSA Workshop has been rescheduled for this Thursday, March 2nd at 7:30 a.m. If you haven’t already done so, please sign up in the office if you’re interested in attending. See Ms. Rogers if you have any questions.
  • Attention seniors, a representative from Mott Community College will be at the High School on Wednesday, March 22nd @ 7:45 a.m. If you missed the first presentation and are interested in the great programs they have to offer, please stop by the office to sign up.   • Back by popular demand...a representative from U of M Flint will be here to conduct a second FAFSA workshop on next Friday, February 24th at 7:30 a.m. The deadline is March 1st for priority consideration of financial if you are considering going to college in the fall, this is a very important step. PLEASE SIGN UP IN THE OFFICE if you would like to attend. You will have the opportunity to complete your financial aid application during the workshop. Please see Ms. Rogers if you have any questions.

·        Attention Sophomores and Juniors! Applications are now available for those interested in applying to the Genesee Career Institute for the 2017-2018 school year. New GCI students can either apply online by January 26th or you can submit a paper application by February 15th to Ms. Rogers. You MUST be on track for graduation. Please stop by to meet with Ms. Rogers if you’re unsure of your status. Paper applications are on the information table in the office.
